Truth and Reconciliation Report 2025 | South Korea

At the heart of the present case are the petitioners’ claims that, under the Korean government’s aggressive intercountry adoption policy, the petitioners—then infants and children—were falsely recorded as orphans or had their identities altered by adoption agencies authorized by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs and by other state institutions. As a result, their original identities and information about their biological families were changed or lost, which had the effect of denying their right to know who they are. There are also claims of severe human rights violations, including cases of child abuse suffered by the petitioners as adoptees. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission concluded that this case falls within the scope of truth-finding under the Framework Act and, pursuant to Article 22, paragraph 1 thereof, voted to conduct the investigation in three rounds.

IN PURSUIT OF YOUR TRUTH

“Adverse childhood experiences are the single greatest unaddressed public health threat in our nation today.” - Dr Robert Block, former President, American Academy of Pediatrics

What does adoption really mean? It’s time to find out the truth of what really happened to you. For many of us, we have a sense from the very beginning that something wasn’t right. Between what you’re told and what you feel, you know when you’re being gaslit and made to believe there’s something wrong with you. You may already be aware of the lies, deceit, and secrecy surrounding “adoption”. But, do you know there is an industry that operates a legalized global child supply market? This may sound like one big conspiracy, but could the world truly be in on this illusion of adoption? Together we will get to the truth. Contact me today for your first consultation.

I’m ready to pursue the truth

Your truth is within you

You are here. You exist. You are human. Everything that you are is your truth. Let’s unpack all the layers of messaging, projections, stereotypes, and ignorance that comes up anytime “adoption” is mentioned. It is a process of unlearning and relearning. A process of replacing the false narratives we’ve been fed all our lives with THE TRUTH.

The truth is often not very complicated. What gets complex is evading the truth.
— Thomas Sowell

The way we understand ourselves is transformed by the context in which we place ourselves. Thanks to the work of numerous advocates, we are that much more aware of the industry that hides behind adoption. The Vance Twins, Arun Dohle,, Tik Root, and Deanne Borshay Liem are among many authors, journalists, filmmakers, and researchers who have helped expose the industry and the truth. For centuries, we were unaware of what this industry was doing to all of us. But now we do. We are finding our way out of the illusion and into our truths.
